Foundation Paper "Pieced Tree"


Foundation Paper Pieced Tree is the process of making quilt blocks by sewing the pattern pieces onto a paper foundation in a precise, orderly manner. It creates very crisp shapes, pointy points and intricate designs. Blocks can be used alone or paired with others to design quilts, wall hangings, mug rugs and table runners....the options are endless.

Skill Details: Confident Beginner
Materials Included: Will be provided by the instructor to each registrant after registration
Requirements: Confident Beginner - Should have completed Q'F 101 class or have skills to accurately, precisely cut with rotary cutter; sew with accurate, precise 1/4" seam, neatly press sewn pieces.
Instructor: Flo Douglas
Instructor Bio: Flo Douglas is a long-time quilter. The craft of quilting has brought her great joy, particularly in making items and sharing them with others. Her greatest joy is to pass on to members of her classes her passion for quilting, and help them to gain the skills to create and complete pieces that give them joy and satisfaction.
