This fun, beginner-friendly project is the perfect way to learn essential sewing skills while creating something you can proudly use in your own kitchen. You’ll practice paying attention to fabric direction and learn how to cut your fabric to achieve the exact look and pattern placement you want. Along the way, you’ll gain confidence sewing straight lines, working through multiple layers of fabric, and mastering simple finishing techniques that make your project look polished and professional. By the end of class, you’ll have a beautiful, functional tea towel—and the skills to start sewing even more! Whether you’re brand new to sewing or just looking for a creative outlet, this class makes it easy (and fun!) to get started.
Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must be able to thread and work/use your own sewing machine.

Colleen learned to sew and crochet from her Granny Bird and Mom at a young age. A proud fabric hoarder (because you never know when you'll need that perfect print). Colleen delights in helping others stitch, snip and seam their way into new skills and creative adventures. |
